Well it seems like it’s still spring up here in the Sierra’s for now. Kinda odd, pleasant yet very scary. I mean it’s bone dry in the front yard. Zero snow. The river banks are the same for now. Sure different from last year. Getting around on the rivers this year is a cake walk at the moment. Fish are still in their normal winter lies but you may find one mosey’n around and willing to chase on the random cloudy days we have been having. They are all good days for fishing. But the one’s with a bit of cloud cover make our finned friends the most active. Some midge hatches in the afternoon and some bwo’s starting appear. Let’s hope it gets a bit wetter than it has been but until then lets get out and enjoy this weather before it’s too late. After all, the fish still gotta eat.
