The colors are changing along with the seasons up here in the Sierras. Reds, yellows, oranges with a tinge of green paints our mountain sides and river banks. It’s a beautiful time of year up here in high country. The rivers, lakes and streams are a bit quieter as expected this time of year. But don’t sit around and wait for this nice weather and fishing to come to you. It generally doesn’t last too long. Fish are spread out and all over the place now. It’s not long before they slide back down into their deep holes and outta the fast. Some already have taken that calmer lye. So if you like fishing it all now is the time. Today I got out for a nice dog walk and picked some pockets with a dry dropper rig. The fish were all over and eager. It’s go time!
