Now that we are past the bulk of summer chaos and crowds every where you look, it also appears that we may be able to put all the heat behind us as well. A huge plus for our fishy friends that thrive on cold oxygenated water. As the water temps drop the trout become more active. Thus allowing us to fish for them more effectively throughout the entire day. Where in the heat of summer the trout would hunker down and escape the heat. Not to say they wont eat during the day in the summer, but in the fall the trout become a bit more active. Good water temperatures equal happy trout and more consistent fishing throughout the day.  So get out of the house and come out fishing.
