This past week we saw a roller coaster of a weather pattern up in the Sierras. It went from rainy and windy, to snowy and cold and now as we step into fall it will warm up a tad from our snowy later few days into a nice mild fall pattern. With the cooler weather brings more active fish. The low temps are just enough to gradually drop our water temperature back down into the “ideal” trout temperatures throughout the day. Now is the time to get out on the water. The crowds are thinning by the week thus lessening the pressure for the fish. And with Pyramid Lake opening up next week I expect the rivers to get even quieter. So come on out and join us on the water for a fun filled day.
